Our International Clients

For the past 20 years, Omicron has provided complex technology consulting services across a local, regional, national and international customer base.  With the need for repeatable processes and leveraged systems, and with the global extension of the enterprise, many Omicron clients have turned to deploy their software and networks within implementation around the world.

The need to consider unique requirements and design considerations of deliverables targeted for world-wide distribution, has created enhanced methodologies to address this need.

Omicron developed and employed its System Verification Technology (SVT) process as it lead the design, development and deployment of 8 applications and infrastructures for British Petroleum across 17 US, Canadian and European locations. This process not only set their core technology approach, guided their migration to a Microsoft platform, as it validated the adaptability of these core technologies to the uniqueness of each of their worldwide organizations.

Prior to that, Omicron was contracted by Philips Lighting, deploying a CRM application, originally defined with the UK and US and eventually deployed to 5 countries throughout Europe.

For over 15 years, Omicron has been a critical strategic partner to OSIsoft, a leader in the Process Industry. That relationship demonstrates an additional Omicron skill set. Beyond deploying and implementing software for clients throughout, Asia, Australia, Europe and the US, Omicron produced many of the applications in 5 different languages, including English, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese and Korean. This was done either through local translation work with the local project teams or via a language tool kit developed by Omicron.

For many years, Omicron was the exclusive deployment firm for Merck, providing application deployment in plants throughout Italy, Scotland, Puerto Rico and others. Most recently, we added Scandinavia to our coverage model as we are implementing several applications for Conoco’s North Sea platform operation in Norway.

While Omicron does not specifically market to firms outside of the US and Canada, we are routinely referred to them by their US-based operations, as part of a US lead program or the result of a reference from our worldwide strategic partners.

Regardless of the location, Omicron clients expect the same local care as our regional and national clients have become accustom to. Omicron offers the full complement of our consulting programs to all of the major industrial nations throughout the world in support of the use and successful deployment of Microsoft technology.
