2011 Budgeting and POC’s
This is the time of year when many firms what to complete an investigation
in to their use of a new technology platform, or engage in an activity that will
prepare a strategy and budget for expansion of their use for the year to come. To do so, there is the need for some
technical investigation, perhaps a POC, a baseline strategy and an
Implementation Outline with costs.

SharePoint Deployments or Expansion
The sharepoint phenomenon continues.
firms realize that the breadth of functionality, across applications,
portal, document management, reporting and workflow, deserve a thoughtful
alignment through the creation of a sharepoint strategy. this exercise considers both targeted
and broad use of this platform for coming year and provides an implementation
guideline to follow for budgeting and deployment timing purposes.

BPOS Assessment– Cloud Computing for Exchange, OCS or CRM
For firms looking to simplify their access and management of
Exchange, Microsoft’s BPOS program
provids funds, along with Omicron incentive funds, to cover the majority of your
investigation of moving to cloud computing for exchange, OCS and Unified
Communications.
Over 20% of the VOUCHERS and available funds from Microsoft go unused by clients that were not aware of the ability to apply them to their greatest advantage. Omicron has work with Microsoft to use these funds with great flexibility and applied to a wider range of subjects.
