Our experience also includes work for Independent Software Vendors (ISV), one vendor in the eProcurement sector, leveraged Omicron's XMLabs to create a Vision and Architecture for the use of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 for connections between their eProcurement and eMarketplace products for B2B connections with ERP systems such as SAP, J.D. Edwards, Oracle Financials, etc. The architecture also described how the information would also flow for A2A (Application-to-Application) connections for Data Warehouses for analysis of transaction such as catalog information, customer information, order patterns, etc. This project was part of the Early Adaptors Program (EAP) for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000. This allowed the team early and compressive access to the product team within Microsoft and also included trips to Redmond for education and design review sessions.
