An example of Fortune 1000 B2B connections, Omicron's XMLabs has used Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 to exchange information that spans a relationship that is more complex than the placement of an order. In this example project, BizTalk was used to connect customers such as large manufacturers to a services provider. The information that was exchanged was information beyond a standard order type data, but included areas such as details about orders and internal charge accounts provided for charge line accounting and verification.
