Job Title Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities Omicron Development LLC is an industry-leading technical consulting firm and OSIsoft partner specializing in the OSIsoft PI system integration and custom software development for the process industries with customers around the world.

We currently are looking for a .NET Architect/Sr. Programmer with at least five years of strong experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack. Proven abilities to work efficiently, interact positively with clients and lead one to five person projects are highly desirable.

Requirements
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
  • Able to commute to our Cherry Hill, NJ office and travel across the US North-East
  • Knowledge
    • Leveraging information and data in a continuous process operation setting
    • Candidate should have some basic process engineering knowledge, affinity for information management and understand how to link data to business outcomes
  • Skills:
    • OSIsoft PI System
    • Basic Windows Server
    • Basic SQL Server or RDBMS concepts
    • Basic networking
    • Basic Process control systems,
    • Familiar with process industry systems (e.g. MES, LIMS, SCM, etc.)
    • Engineering degree.
  • Previous experience: 2 to 5 years experience in a customer facing activities (e.g. working at System Integrator in project management, pre-sales, etc.)
  • Attitude:  Self starter/High Emotional Intelligence/Emphatic personality
Job Description
  • Contact potential customers to introduce the company’s offering, discover their needs/requirements, propose solutions and conclude agreements
  • Respond to solicited proposals and prepare unsolicited proposals;
  • Deliver and present proposals to customers;
  • Demonstrate propose solutions sometimes;
  • Work with the internal team at Omicron to develop proposals, RFI and RFQ responses, develop estimates, carry out risk assessment, etc.
  • Execute lead generation activities when there are not enough leads to pursue/nurture (Tradeshows, Marketing Campaigns, etc.)
  • Document sales activities in CRM
